Frostburg Police responded to a Broadway business late Tuesday when an armed robbery was reported at the location. The Cumberland Times News reports once on the scene, officers determined that no armed robbery had occurred at the business located across the street from the police station. However, a suspect wearing a ski mask had entered the business and grabbed a bottle of whiskey before fleeing the store. Police said no weapon was displayed. The suspect was described as a slander, tall black male. Anyone with information about the incident may call Frostburg Police at 301-689-3000 or Allegany and Mineral County Crime Solvers at 722-4300. Callers to crime solvers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $1,500 based on the results derived from the information.
