Vehicle Accident Leads To Multiple Charges

On February 11, 2016, Allegany County Deputies responded to Bowling Street, Bowling Green for a motor vehicle crash reported vehicle on its roof in a creek with entrapment.  Upon arrival deputies found a Dodge minivan lying on the roof in a creek. It was further discovered that the driver, Dustin Wayne Youngblood and passenger David Shank were able to self extricate from the vehicle.  The passenger Mr. Shank was transported to Western Maryland health System by the Cresaptown Volunteer Fire Department ambulance with minor injuries. The driver Mr. Youngblood was later transported to the hospital by Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputies as a precaution. Mr. Youngblood was charged with driving without a license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle, driving vehicle without plates and driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance.
