Warrants Served By Cumberland PD

On 04/30/16 The Cumberland Police Dept served three bench warrants on 52 year old Patrica Dye of Cumberland. The bench warrants stem from Dye failing to appear in District Court on original charges of Animal Cruelty and No Rabies Vaccination on a dog. Dye was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was held on a total of $7,800 bail pending her next court appearance.

On 04/30/16 The Cumberland Police Dept served a bench warrant on 21 year old Jason Roager of Cumberland. The bench warrant stems from Roager failing to appear in District Court on original charge of Assault 2nd degree. Roager was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held on a $5,000 bail pending his next court appearance.

On 04/30/16 The Cumberland Police Dept served a bench warrant on 48 year old Charles Shook of Cumberland. The bench warrant stems from Shook failing to appear in District Court on original charge of Theft under $100. Shook was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was released after posting a $2,600 bail pending trial in District Court.

Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle

On 04/30/16 The Cumberland Police Dept responded to the 600 blk of Greenway Ave in reference to a unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who stated that they let William Kinser Jr, 42 years of age of Cumberland borrow a vehicle several days ago. When they attempted to retrieve the vehicle, Kinser would not provide them with the keys and refused to return the vehicle. At this time Officers attempted to take Kinser into custody. After a brief struggle, Kinser was taken into custody without further incident. Kinser Jr was transported to the Cumberland Police Dept where he was processed and charged with one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. Kinser Jr was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held on a $3,500 bond pending his next court appearance.
