HAZMAT Situation In Frederick... |
Frederick County fire and rescue units are currently on the scene of a Hazardous Materials Incident at the Frederick Medical Surgical Building at 915 Tollhouse Avenue.
The building has been evacuated and crews are investigating the situation. Four people were in surgery when the building was evacuated.
Numerous occupants were feeling ill and eight people were evaluated at the scene, according to Michael Dmuchowski with the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services.
Units from the Maryland Department of the Environment are coming to evaluate the situation.
