Life Fitness Management, the Mountain Maryland Marathon Club, and the Allegany County United Way have joined forces to hold the First Annual Mountain Maryland Marathon, to be held April 19th, 2009, in Allegany County.
The marathon will travel up National Highway that Sunday morning from Cumberland to Frostburg, then back down the mountain via the Great Allegheny Passage for the final 15 miles, and will benefit the County United Way. President and Co-Owner of Life Fitness Management Amy Schwab-Owens tells WCBC News that they are exited to partner with the Marathon Club and the United Way, and they hope to event will go well…
