Concerns Over Virginia Ave. Post Office Being Targeted For Closure
The South Cumberland Business and Civic Association is concerned that the Virginia Avenue Post Office may be targeted for closure.
Association representative Jim Ortiz approached the Allegany County Commissioners during Thursday morning’s work session and asked that the county send a letter to Senators Mikulski and Cardin and to Congressman Roscoe Bartlett urging that the post office remain open.
