Rotary Learns About Renewable Energy

Renewable energy was the topic at Tuesday’s Cumberland Rotary Club meeting. Two Frostburg State University professors discussed their wind and solar energy demonstration system built on the Frostburg campus with funding provided by the Maryland Energy Administration. A symposium on renewable energy will be held September 14 and 15 with Congressman Roscoe Bartlett as one of the keynote speakers. Bartlett is a scientist with several patents to his credit.
