The Greater Cumberland Committee (TGCC) held its February Board meeting at the Cumberland Country Club earlier in the month.  Members and invited guests were provided a  detailed update of meetings held in conjunction with the Mineral County Day event and the P.A.C.E. reception and legislative breakfast.  These meetings included discussions with economic development, transportation, energy, the Maryland Banking Association, as well as separate meetings with representatives of the West Virginia and Maryland Delegation and the Honorable Peter Franchot, Comptroller for the State of Maryland.  Photo from L to R:   TGCC Executive Director Brenda Smith, Jonathan “Smiley Kessler, who provided an update on behalf of the business community and the Maryland Banking Association discussion, and Mineral County Day Co-Chair Amy White.  TGCC is a regional, business-based community serving three states and five counties in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
