On Saturday at approximately 1:20 p.m., A Cumberland Police Department officer on patrol in the area of 400 Park Street observed a male and female involved in an argument. The officer made contact with the female party involved while the male subject walked away. After speaking with the female the officer caught up with the male in the area of the Post Office. The male was identified as Jackie Lee Wooldridge. Wooldridge began yelling and screaming which created a disturbance. As the officer continually tried to calm Wooldridge he began yelling at a passerby. Wooldridge continued to create a disturbance and failed to listen to the officer’s orders to calm down. Wooldridge was placed under arrest and during a search of Wooldridge a metal pipe commonly used to smoke a controlled dangerous substance was located in Wooldridge’s pants pocket. Wooldridge was transported to Police Headquarters for processing. Wooldridge was later released from Police Headquarters after being issued three criminal citations.
