Cumberland Police Make Three Warrant Arrests

On Friday, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on 69 year old Melvin Mumma Jr. The warrant was issued as a result of Mumma failing to appear for his court case at the District Court of Allegany County. Mumma was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $12,500 bond.

Also Friday, Cumberland Police also served a bench warrant on 46 year old Rick Imes. The warrant was issued as a result of Imes failing to appear for his court case at the District Court of Allegany County. Imes was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bail.

Early Saturday, City Police served a Washington County District Court bench warrant on 37 year old Anthony Joyner. The warrant was issued as a result of Joyner failing to appear for his court case at the District Court of Washington County. Joyner was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was released on his personal recognizance, pending trial.
