Saturday’s Heat Advisories and Warnings

Record heat will worsen on Saturday. Temperatures will reach 100 degrees with a heat index of 110 degrees. According to the National Weather Service, a heat advisory have been issued for Allegany County from 11AM until 10PM. In addition, advisories have been put in place for Hampshire and Mineral Counties in West Virginia. Heaalth officials suggest keeping cool over the weekend with limited outdoor strenuous activity and recommend drinking plenty of water during the heat wave.
