Cumberland Man for Disorderly Conduct

On Friday, June 28, 2018 officers from the Cumberland Police Department were investigating a motor vehicle crash on Baltimore Avenue.  During the investigation the officers observed a male walking towards the scene, yelling about the subject that had hit his car.

The officers intercepted the subject and advised him to calm down and lower his voice.  The subject then pointed his finger at one of the officer’s face and began cursing at him.  The subject continued yelling at the officers and other subjects in the area.

The officer attempted to place the subject under arrest; however the subject resisted the arrest by pushing the officer into a vehicle.

After a brief struggle the subject, David Collier Kneisley Sr. was taken into custody.  He was transported the police station for charges and processing.  As a result of his initial appearance at the District Court Commissioner’s office, Kneisley was released on his personal recognizance pending trail at District Court.

David Collier Kneisley Sr., 54 Y/O, Cumberland, MD

 

Charges:

Assault 2nd degree

Obstructing and Hindering

Resist/Interfere with Arrest

Disorderly Conduct

Failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order
