Saturday morning, at about 9:40 AM, Cumberland Police responded to a Bedford Street residence for a disturbance.
Once officers arrived they observed one subject with an injury to his head. Officers spoke with several witnesses to the incident as well as the victim. It was discovered John Ray Jenkins Jr. had allegedly assaulted the victim causing the injury.
Jenkins was transported to Police Headquarters for processing. He was later taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was held on a $7,500.00 bond

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree and Disorderly Conduct
