June 8th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Heritage Days Festival officially marks the beginning of summer in Cumberland, Maryland. The two-day festival, always the first full weekend in June, is set for Saturday, June 8 from 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday, June 9 from 11 am – 5 pm. The festival is located on historic Washington Street, the original site of Fort Cumberland and known for its magnificent Victorian homes; and Downtown Cumberland with its late 19th and early 20th century architecture.  Now in its 51st year, the festival offers something for everyone from children to history buffs to those who come just to sample the delicious array of festival foods and to shop at the crafters and artisans booths.
