WBAL reports Gov. Larry Hogan is weighing in on whether kids should be required to wear masks in schools, saying the virus is nearly extinguished here in Maryland, kids shouldn't have to wear masks, and should not have to social distance when they return to the classroom.  "They should be 100% open and every kid should be back in school."  Hogan said there should be some exceptions for kids who need to remain virtual because of health reasons. He says local school systems should make those decisions."But that's not my determination. The local, duly elected school boards get to make the final decision." "We're making tremendous progress," Hogan added. "We're ahead of the country and I think all of the schools should be open."
