The ride funds a College Scholarship program for children of Active First Responders(EMS, FIRE, POLICE) who each day place their lives on the line for all of US. The foundation assists Emergency Organizations with funds, materials, equipment and/or Volunteers when needed.
The 9/11 Memorial Riders will pass through Cumberland on Friday, August 21, at approximately 8:15am. The riders will come down Route 36 onto Mechanic Street and will make a left at the fire station in Cumberland traveling out Frederick Street and going onto Interstate 68 at Nave’s Crossroads.
WCBC will be providing live coverage of the event.
