Allegany County 911 is reporting a mishap on US Route 220 near American Woodmark.
A utility pole and lines are down, and that has caused police to shut down the roadway in both directions at that location.
Emergency crews are on the scene.
7:30 PM UPDATE: Southbound US 220 has been reopened, but the northbound lane is still closed.
8:10 PM UPDATE: US 220 has been reopened in both directions.
