ACLU Questions Use Of Aerial Monitoring During Unrest

May 6th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

According to the Washington Post, the American Civil Liberties Union is alarmed at the use of small planes to monitor the protests last week in Baltimore.

According to the Post, the monitoring was requested of the FBI by the Baltimore City Police Department.  The ACLU is questioning the authority to monitor those who were protesting peacefully, where there was no presumption they were doing anything illegally.

The ACLU is expected to make a request for further information today.
