The Allegany County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services Department is currently working to develop a contingency plan to make food distribution available to students attending Braddock Middle School. As soon as the details of this updated plan are finalized, an official announcement will be made to inform Braddock families.
The reason for the lack of on site food distribution has not been disclosed. However, in response to a recent question about possible Coronavirus cases, ACPS did issue the following statement:
"Due to privacy concerns and legal restrictions, ACPS cannot report to the media or the general public details of suspected or actual cases of COVID-19 among students and staff. ACPS communicates all suspected and actual cases to the Health Department and cooperates with the direction of the Health Department."
