The head of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is optismistic that 2014 will be another strong season for the area’s top tourist attraction- however he acknowledges that he is keeping a close eye on how the ongoing Canal Place issues play out. General Manager Michael Gresham, who took over the reigns of the railroad last spring, tells WCBC News that whether its local government, the Authority or state officials that ultimately takes control of the project- he doesn’t foresee any scenario that would lead to the end of Canal Place.
