Allegany Co. Commissioner President Shade Would Like To See Counselors In Every School

With an additional $300,00 expected to be allocated to the Board of Education this year, Allegany County Commissioners President Jake Shade has some ideas as to how the board might use those funds. Shade said he has been alarmed at the rising number of teen suicides and other serious issues facing school aged children – and he would like to see the board give thought to providing counselors in every school in the system…

    It’s a worthwhile point for discussion, but I think Foote feels he is a counselor and Bohn thinks a chiropractor would be better.
