The Allegany County Delegation met Friday in Annapolis.
The delegation will support a City of Cumberland request for state funding of 87.5% of the Combined Sewer Overflow Storage Facility through the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund. Also, the legislators will seek a measure requested by the Allegany County Commissioners which will allow some grant monies from the gamng proceeds at Rocky Gap Casino to be used in the entire Tri-County Council area.
The delegation will also submit bond bills in the amount of $250,000 for the Animal Shelter Management Foundation and $150,000 for the Frostburg Museum Association.
State Senator George Edwards will continue as chairman of the group.
