As previously announced, the Allegany County Commissioners, William R. Valentine, Creade V. Brodie, Jr., and Jacob C. Shade, will publicly recognize the Allegany County Health Department’s national accreditation achievement by the Public Health Accreditation Board. Those involved in this achievement include Director Sue Raver, MD, MPH, Health Officer, Accreditation Coordinator Jenelle Mayer, MPH, Director of Community Health, the 18 member accreditation team, and the health department staff. This recognition will be on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Allegany County Government Office Building, 701 Kelly Road – Room 100, Cumberland after the conclusion of the budget hearings. The expected starting time is 2:30 p.m. The general public is invited to attend. The building is handicapped accessible and there is ample, free parking at the door.
