May 17th, 2012 by WCBC Radio

The Allegany County Public School System may lose its second in command this week- as assistant school superintendent Janet Wilson is viewed as the front runner to become the next Garrett County Superintendent of Schools. Wilson and 1992 Fort Hill graduate Jeremy Raley- currently the assistant superintendent in Shanandoah County in Virginia. A decision could come as soon as Friday. Wilson, who has been employed in the Allegany County system for most of her career, was one of the finalists for the superintendent’s post in Allegany County after William Aumiller retired.
