March 23rd, 2020 by WCBC Radio

In recognition of Governor Larry Hogan’s Executive Order of March 23, 2020, and in the interest of protecting the health and wellbeing of county staff and their families, the Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County has reduced operations of Allegany County Government to essential services only.

The following reduction in operations will take effect at 4 PM on March 23, 2020, and will be in effect until further notice.  All non-essential employees will have the option to telework, if possible. A limited number of staff persons will continue to work at the County’s main office complex at 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland. Essential employees will continue to report to work as assigned.

I’d say DelFest is in trouble. I don’t see it happening. Another nail in Allegany County’s coffin.

Covid-19 task force about to present their daily update. Can someone, anyone, please stop Trump from speaking? He struggles answering questions and putting sentences together. Thank goodness the market is closed. It plummets every time he speaks. Let Pence and Faucci do all the talking. Please!
