According to the Cumberland Times-News, City Councilwoman Nicole Alt-Myers is stepping down from her post in the board that oversees the Greater Cumberland Airport, effective immediately. In the final year of her four-year term, Alt-Myers recently also announced she would not seek re-election to the city council after her term is up. The City of Cumberland is responsible for appointing one council person to hold the Airport Authority post for the length of their four-year council term.
