Amie Hoeber Says It’s Vitally Important City Leaders Provide Detailed Up To Date Information On CSX Discussions

Cumberland City officials have met on the subject of CSX and the West Side bridges twice in the past two weeks- but both meetings were closed to the public and very little details have been provided. The lack of transparency has been a point of concern for some who feel the citizens most impacted by the three bridge closings are being left in the dark. At this point all that is known is that a temporary structure may be put in place to allow limited access- and that more talks are scheduled. Amie Hoeber, the Republican candidate for Maryland’s Sixth Congressional seat, spent Monday and Tuesday in Allegany County and says that the CSX bridge issue is vitally important and its incumbent upon city leaders to provide up to date, detailed information during this process…
