The 2nd annual Cumberland Pride Festival is Sunday celebrating the LTBGQ community. The festival will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in downtown Cumberland on the mall. Performances are on the McCoury Family Stage at the intersection of Liberty and Baltimore Streets. Event organizer Jackie Mckenzie says local businesses, performers, and organizations are coming together to celebrate the LGBTQ community in and near the Cumberland area. Members of the LGBTQ community as well as their families and allies are invited to come out and enjoy an afternoon of togetherness. There will be organized youth activities, live music, and performances. Cumberland Pride is dedicated to promoting diversity and creating a more visible and united LGBTQ community.
