Scott Dixon, a Mineral County resident and social worker, has organized an anti-drug rally for today at Keyser’s South End park. The event is described as being anti heroin, and pro medical marijuana. Dixon said the event would feature former addicts speaking about their experiences, free food and “music all day long.“ Dixon, who said he has started three churches in his lifetime, including one in Fort Ashby, said spiritual outreach is also an important component to getting off drugs and staying off them. The rally will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
