Western Maryland anti fracking activists are conducting a volunteer kickoff meeting Sunday from 3 to 9. The group will be gathering at City Place in Frostburg to join together for a statewide ban on fracking. The event is free and open to the public. There will be supervised and fun activities for children. This is an opportunity for Western Marylanders to hear from legislators who are working on a ban bill as well as to educate the community about fracking and how they can be a part of the movement to ban fracking in Maryland. Following the educational portion of the program join us for dinner and dancing for the remainder of the evening.
