Architectural Firm Selected To Design New Allegany High School

The Allegany County Board of Education took a major step toward a new Allegany High School this week with the announcement that the architectural firm Grimm and Parker of Calverton has been selected to design the new facilities.  Grimm and Parker were the architects for other local projects including Mountain Ridge High School and the libraries in Frostburg and Lonaconing- and will now begin work on designing a replacement for the oldest active high school in the state of Maryland- one that will be located on the site for the former Sacred Heart Hospital.
