Armed Robberies In Frostburg

Police are seeking suspects in a series of armed residential robberies in Frostburg, the most recent occurring Wednesday afternoon. 

the Cumberland Times News reports it was 12:30 p.m. when a suspect brandishing a knife reportedly entered a home at Bowery and Stoyer streets and took an undetermined amount of money, Frostburg Police said. The victim reportedly described the suspect as a black male wearing a ski mask.

On Monday around 4 p.m., police said, two black males armed with a black automatic handgun entered a residence in the 100 block of South Broadway Street while the tenants were present. A large sum of money and iPhones were stolen, police said.

According to police, the victims described the first suspect as 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. The second was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds. One was reportedly wearing a ski mask.

Police said details were limited and C3I is assisting in the investigations.
