On 12.20.2015 at approximately 12:39 am, Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office assisted by Troopers from the Maryland State Police responded to the Pit-n-Go on McMullen Highway in Bowling Green for a reported armed robbery.
Investigation revealed that a male entered the business, brandished a handgun and removed an undisclosed amount of currency.
The responding law enforcement officers were assisted by Trooper 5 and an attempt was made to track the suspect.
Detectives from C3I responded to the scene and assisted in the investigation.
The Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) involved in the incident.
