Armed Robbery in Frostburg

The Cumberland Times News reports Frostburg Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint near the College Gardens Apartments early Friday. Police said the robbery victim was walking to his vehicle off Broadway Street Extended around 3 a.m. when he was approached by two black males, one who was brandishing a silver semi-automatic handgun. The first suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had a braided bun with silver tip hair and was wearing all black clothing. The second suspect was described as a skinny black male with a small head and short black hair who was also wearing black clothing,

On Thursday at approximately 11:00pm, officers from Frostburg City Police responded to 164 Bowery St. for a reported robbery. Officers were advised two black males entered the residence and displayed handguns demanding money. The suspects struck one victim in the head with the gun. The suspects rummaged through the residence and were scared away when there was a knock at the door. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.  One suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt, black glasses with a gold piece and a blue bandana covering his face. The other suspect was wearing a black windbreaker which was zipped up covering his face.  Frostburg City Officers and the Combined County Criminal Investigation  (C3I) canvassed the area for the suspects and conducted interviews. The investigation is continuing by Frostburg City and C3I.
