Arrest Made After Trespassing Complaint

On Monday, January 16, 2012 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a business located on Paca Street in reference to a trespassing complaint.  Upon the officers arrival employees of the business stated that for approximately one hour they have been telling a subject to leave the business.  The officer then made contact with the subject, Betty Louise Dye and requested that she leave the business.  Dye again refused at which time she was arrested for trespassing.  Dye was transported to police headquarters for processing.  Dye was then transported to District Court for her initial appearance at which time she was released on her personal recognizance.
