The Ridgeley Fire Department along with the West Virginia Office of the State Fire Marshal is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) who are responsible for the arson fire that severely damaged the Carpendale Rails to Trails Bridge in the early morning hours of Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to call the Arson Hotline at 800-233-3473. The hotline is manned 24 hours a day and there is the possibility of a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
