Atlantic Broadband service in many areas was disrupted by the storms that hit the region late yesterday afternoon.
General Manager Dan Feartag tells WCBC News that an assessment by crews indicates that the distribution plant remains intact and that service should return to affected customers as power returns in those areas.
Feartag says there may be some issues related to service nodes in some areas, but that won’t be known until power is restored.
One such node that was affected was in the Washington Street area of Cumberland after the storm hit at 4:45 last evening. That area was back in service as of this morning.
