On Saturday evening, 07/06/2013, at approximately 6:48 PM, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to Shaft Road, at a storage shed facility, for an apparent accidental shooting. The victim was transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center where he later died of his injuries. The victim has been identified as 35 year old Marvin Edward Bickling of Baltimore.
Investigators with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. The scene was processed by an Evidence Collection Technician with the Maryland State Police Forensic Science Division.
The investigation is continuing by the Sheriff’s Office and C3I.
