Baltimore man gets 17 years for heroin distribution in Allegany County

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, along with Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, announced on Wednesday, Cornelius Boyd Allmond, Baltimore, was found guilty of Distribution of Heroin in the Circuit Court for Allegany County. After the guilty verdict, the Honorable Jeffrey S. Getty, Circuit Court Judge for Allegany County, sentenced Allmond to 17 years actual incarceration in the Maryland Department of Corrections. 

 

The case was the result of an investigation, conducted by members of the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, into the distribution and sales of heroin in Allegany County.  During the investigation, Detectives obtained evidence implicating Allmond’s involvement in the Distribution of Heroin throughout the Allegany County area.  When arrested Allmond was found with felony amounts of heroin. 

 

The state was represented by Assistant State’s Attorney Samuel J. Lane.  The defendant was represented by David M. Schram, Esp.
