The City of Cumberland would like to notify the public on behalf of Rhinehart Railroad Construction, a contractor for the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, that the Baltimore Street Railroad Crossing is scheduled to be paved on Monday night, August 12, 2019, beginning at 8:00pm. Two-way traffic on the Baltimore Street Bridge will be restored at 6:00am on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. This schedule is weather permitting.
The structural work on the Baltimore Street Bridge Repairs will be completed on Monday, August 12, 2019. All repairs will be made prior to restoring the traffic patterns on the bridge.
Belt Paving will resume working night shift on the Mechanic Street Project for three weeks starting on Monday evening, August 12, 2019. Their expected hours of operation are 8:00pm to 6:00am.
