Bedford Man Charged With Theft Scheme

December 20th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

On Saturday, Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on David Dean Howe.

The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to a complaint that Howe pawned several items at a local pawn shop from February to April 2020, and receive cash for the pawned items. Howe would then use a credit card to pay off the loan and get the items back. It was later determined that the card that Howe was using to pay off the loans did not belong to him and he was not given permission to use the card by the owner.

Howe was charged with identity theft and theft scheme. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on an unsecured bond of $1,500 pending trial.

David Dean Howe Jr, age; 55, Bedford, Pennsylvania.
