Franklin County in south central Pennsylvania... Somerset County in south central Pennsylvania... Fulton County in south central Pennsylvania... * Until 400 PM EDT. * At 103 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated numerous pockets of heavy rain that will cause areas of urban and small stream flooding the advisory area. Between one and two inches of rain has already fallen, and additional amounts will cause small stream and poor drainage area flooding across the Laurel Highlands and parts of the South Central Mountains. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Somerset, Shippensburg, Windber, Greencastle, Bedford, Breezewood, Guilford, St. Thomas, Fayetteville, Warfordsburg, Wayne Heights, Meyersdale, Berlin, Clearville, New Enterprise, Everett, Mont Alto and Mercersburg. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
