Bedford woman facing drug charges

October 24th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

With a jury selected and waiting to begin hearing testimony in her case, Rosanna Marie Fleck, 32, of Six Mile Run, changed direction Friday and pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony offense. The Cumberlanx Times News reports the incident occurred on July 24, 2014, and involved Fleck making arrangements to purchase Percocet pills from an elderly woman with the intention of reselling those pills for profit.

Unbeknownst to Fleck, the Pennsylvania State Police and Bedford County Drug Task Force had been alerted to the transaction, and greeted Fleck as she attempted to exit the residence of the elderly woman. Fleck immediately turned over the pills and acknowledged that she had been illegally selling prescription pills for some time, and that she intended to sell the 50 pills and come back later in the week to purchase more.

Police said Fleck arrived at the location of the drug transaction with her daughters, ages 14 and 5, in the car. The defendant admitted to all of these facts as she entered her guilty plea before Judge Travis Livengood.
