This fall’s race for a seat on the Allegany County Board of Education in many ways has become one of the more politically charged, partisan and often time’s personal campaigns in recent history. Accusations of misconduct, ethical concerns and some old fashioned mudslinging have dominated much of the past few months’ campaign headlines – and it has gotten personal on some levels. Several social media comments, allegedly from candidate David Bohn’s family have surfaced in recent weeks. The posts have been extremely critical of Bohn and urge citizens not to vote for him.
