The first ten months of the new board of education that took office in January has been has been anything but a team effort- as there have been heated debates, mutual accusations of ethical violations and a myriad of 3-2 split votes on any number of key issues. Until now votes have been split 3 to 2, male vs female, boys against the girls, men vs women, however you want to describe it.
Now every item on the agenda will be deadlocked by a 2/2 vote unless one individual votes in the other camp.
This sudden agreement to work together is a admission that the disparity between the two camps is still in place but they will be forced to compromise in order to get any work done.
It will be interesting to see what comes out of the new Board and whether this can continue when a 5th member is appointed. Based on past experience I doubt it.

The new guy will be aligned with the two battle axes so they will be happy. I feel sorry for their husbands. That is why their tunes are changing. They got their way…for now…until Foote runs again and wins.
