Board of Education Sees Enrollment Increase

November 15th, 2012 by WCBC Radio

The Allegany County Board of Education  received an upbeat  enrollment report this week- showing that the number of students, including pre-K, has increased this fall —  from 8,915 to 8,931. While only a slight hike, the numbers reflect a halt to decades of student decline in the county- and supports the findings of a consultant retained by the board last year that indicated enrollment numbers would be increasing in the coming years. Superintendent David Cox.
