The Fiscal 2016 Audit of the Allegany County Board of Education is now complete and has been accepted by the school board.
The audit was delayed due to staffing changes in the finance department of the system, along with a change in computer programs. Ed Huber, of Huber Michaels and Company, reported to the board late yesterday afternoon…
The late audit had caused delays in state funding being supplied to the system, and had also threatened to cause problems for county fiscal reimbursements
