BoE Presidents Says He Thinks It Would Difficult For State Board To Override Local Voters

July 29th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Allegany County Board of Education President Robert Farrell was among those questioned in public hearings last week- part of the Maryland State Board of Education's attempt to unseat Allegany County School Board Member Wayne Foote. The next step is for the judge who presided to submit his written opinion to the state board for consideration- which could be part of the August 27th meeting. The board,   however, is not obligated to follow the recommendation of the judge. Farrell, who is on record as fully supporting Foote, told WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” that the bottom line is that Foote, has been elected to two terms by the citizens of Allegany County. He said he thinks it would be difficult for the state board to essentially override the decision of local voters…

If this is the case why did we go through this process if the outcome is already a given. Waste of time and money if you ask me.
Did the citizens of Allegany County know the facts of the case when they elected him? No. So why not let a professional make the judgement.

I wouldn’t assume a state run by liberals and their RINO Governor wouldn’t overturn an election. Democrats already tried and failed with Trump. If Foote was an issue, it wasn’t a problem until a certain cesspool of women lost their majority. The game they are playing is easy to see, hopefully I am wrong and the State sees through it.

When an elected official abuses his office it is not hard at all for the state to override voters and remove him – it is what the state is required to do. With this board majority I can feel students getting dumber by the day.

Maybe, we should clean the entire bunch! And this long drawn out crap. In an elected office, the need to do that job! We should have leaned by past Presidents.
