BoE To Host Community Forum Tonight

Elected members of the Board of Education of Allegany County, along with administrative staff from the school system, will host a community forum to discuss plans for the Allegany High School replacement project on Monday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. at the central office, 108 Washington Street. The forum is free and open to the public. The event will also be recorded as well as live streamed via the Internet- and it will be broadcast live by WCBC Radio. Superintendent of Schools Dr David Cox says the forum will be moderated by Stu Czapski, executive director of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce.  The public will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel regarding the status and next steps of the project. Questions may also be submitted in advance for consideration to info@acpsmd.org.  All questions asked by the audience or via email will be posed to the panel by way of the moderator. In addition questions posed via the school board’s Facebook page will also be considered…
