At his daily press briefing with WCBC and reporters around West Virginia, Governor Jim Justice announced signficant federal money had already been transferred to a special COVID-19 relief account.
Governor Justice, though, started the virtual briefing with a promise to fix a situation at an unnamed nursing home, believed to be in either Jackson or Wayne County. Justice said that mistakes can be made, but seemed to question the intent of those involved in the situation. Paraphrasing the Governor, he will not hesitate to fire those who need to lose their jobs.
